"Say it with Flowers" is a four-pattern project with a floral theme. The block names are Tulips and Harebells; Cottage Daisies; Wilddog Flowers; and Butterfly Bouquet.
Who can resist a garden full of flowers or, for that matter, a gorgeous bunch of flowers in the home? Once a month, Lynette and Vince go to their local farmer's market and one of the "top priority" items on their list is flowers. She uses various jugs, mugs and other containers to display her flowers which is where she got the inspiration for this project.
The techniques of the project are Simple piecing, applique, and Suffolk Puffs (yoyo) flowers as well as Lynette's signature style embroidery. There are hand-painted buttons to complete the look. The buttons are cut and hand-painted on the Sunshine Coast of Australia.
