The vintage looking quilt has been made using a combination of Japanese yarn dyed fabric mixed with thirty coordinating prints to give a lovely scrappy feel to the quilt. English paper pieced Little Dresden plate blocks mixed with simple four patch combine to create this gorgeous quilt.
You will need: -
- ½ yd. cream yarn dyed fabric, embroidery
- 1yd each of 6 assorted coordinating yarn dyed prints, backgrounds and binding
- 2½” x WOF each of 42 assorted prints, Little Dresden’s
- Little Dresden paper liners, to make a total of 98 Little Dresden’s
- Stranded Embroidery thread, I used a variety of Valdani hand dyed
- 78” x 78” Backing fabric
- Batting
- Stitchery stabilizer, optional
- Fabric glue pen, optional
- Roxanne’s Glue Baste-It, optional
- Light box, optional
- Fine tipped fabric marking pen
- General sewing supplies
