This delightful bag features Howard the hedgehog and his friend Lily the rabbit. Pretty embroidered flowers surround the pair. The spikes on Howard the hedgehog on our sample has been done with punch needle giving him a very effective textured look. The kit includes a piece of dark brown wool to applique his spikes with.
Finished bag size approx. 6 1/2" high x 9 1/2" wide
This kit includes:- the full colour pattern, all the fabrics to make the bag, 4 x plastic dome buttons, lace and bag handles. If punchneedle is not your 'thing' (its fun you should try it) then we have included a small piece of dark brown wool in these kits for Howards body :)
You will need:-
Embroidery threads (Lynette has used Cosmo #763 soft mauve, #385 milk chocolate, #653 pretty pink, #982 dusky blue, #236 dusky pink, #895 charcoal, #934 pretty green and #364 cream)
Variegated 3 ply floss for punch needle (Lynette has used Valdani #H212)
2 (8 1/2" x 11") bag batting
Punch needle (Lynette has used a Cameo Ultra punch needle)
Embroidery Hoop (Lynette has used a Susan Bates 5")
