These sweet, embroidered posies blocks have been stitched using one color of red making Redwork quick, fun, and very addictive! I have combines the redwork embroidered posies with some English Paper Piecing (EPP) to create this pretty runner for my sideboard at home.
Approx. finished size 11½” x 29½”
What You Will Need:
12” x 30”, cream/red print
5 (5” x 5”) square assorted cream tonal prints, embroidery backgrounds
Assorted red prints, English Paper Piecing (EPP)
7½” red print, binding
Embroidery floss, I used Valdani #078 aged wine
100gms silk paper or similar to cut paper liners for the EPP
Fusible stitchery stabilizer, optional
12” x 30” batting
12” x 30” backing fabric
Fine tipped fabric pen
Lightbox, optional
