A delightful, thatched cottage tucked behind a stone wall, an apple tree filled with juicy red ripe embroidered apples, a sweet black Labrador named George and a little gray donkey.
‘George and The Donkey’ is a seven-part pattern set with techniques that include applique, embroidery, simple piecing, Suffolk puffs (yoyo’s), wool applique and EPP (English Paper Piecing). Pattern names are George and the Donkey, Garden of Flowers, The Honey Patch, Fields of Horses, Baa Baa Black Sheep, All a Flutter, and Rise and Shine.
This is a very scrappy quilt which we offer starter kits for using fabrics from a huge variety of Lynette's fabrics. There is also a Valdani 6-strand floss kit available for this project.
