Have you ever participated in a Brown Bag Exchange?
I recently participated in the Brown Bag Exchange at one of our local Quilt Guilds, Peace River Quilters Guild.
If you're not familiar with a Brown Bag Exchange, this is how this Guild conducts the program:
"Each January, participants bring at least 4 fat quarters of cotton quilting fabric in a brown bag. The Brown Bag Coordinator collects the bags, keeps track of whose is whose, and distributes them back to the participants. The participants have until the Holiday Luncheon (1st Friday of December) to make something lovely for return to the original owner of the fabric. It’s fun to find out who you made something for and also fun to get something made for you!"
I decided to cut 1 yard of fabric from these 4 bolts and put it in my "brown bag":
These fabrics are from our Botanicals line of fabrics which you can see by clicking here.
It looks like she added a white on the front and a gray on the back.
This is what I got at the Holiday Luncheon:
This is the front.
This is the back.
She added this beautiful label that I love ❤️!
If you would like to see the rest of the projects that were exchanged, you may see them on Facebook at this link: (5) Facebook
I am thrilled with my new quilt and now just having a hard time deciding what to put in my 2025 "Brown Bag"!
